Description:
This fractal's resemblance to a bird is entirely due to luck, but I was very excited about it at first. I absolutely loved the graceful sweep of the neck and the unfurling wings. The color scheme wasn't quite right, though, so it sat in my archives for about six months. It probably would have stayed there if I hadn't been asked to come up with a set of fractals for a specific room. I thought Spectral Phoenix would be a good fit, but the colors needed to be changed. The blues seen in this version replaced a sort of pale green shade, and I liked the result well enough to get it printed.
Created from a 7.2 megapixel original, these prints are very vivid and detailed. The scaled down images on this page don't convey the true detail shown in the poster. Your poster is printed by a professional quality photo-lab, and will continue to look great for as long as any properly cared for photograph.
